Flower Wall Art

So, over the weekend I decided to get a bit crafty, but I didn't know what to do. My sister then suggested I do something summery.. Maybe a decoration for my room. So, I made these. I made one for me, one for my sister, Ashley, and one for my friend, Olivia. I thought they turned out fairly well, although they did take some time.

Supplies

Wooden letters of your choice, assorted fake flowers (you can find these at the dollars store or any crafting store), glue (I used Loctite Crafter's Indoor-Safe Adhesive, and it worked quite well), and scissors (preferably ones that can get messed up as you will be using them to cut the stems off of the fake flowers).

Instructions

First, cut or pull off the fake flowers from their stems. In order for them to stick to the letters, make sure that they're cut down far enough to lay flat, but not too far as to break the flower. Some of the stems you can put off to the edge so it doesn't interfere, but most you will have to cut fairly short.

After separating them from their stems, glue them down to the letter in whatever order you want. I found it easiest to put glue on the letter and then lay the flowers down for the first layer. After you're finished with the first layer, keep gluing flowers down until you are happy with the fullness and the look. You can obviously use whatever colors you like, and there doesn't have to be a color scheme, like mine. Just be creative!

Hopefully this helps to give your home or room a more summery look. Please try it and post pictures of your letter, I'd love to see! Thanks for reading, and enjoy the nice weather. If you have anything I can do to improve or suggestions for future posts, let me know in the comments! ♡

DIY iPhone Cases

These are some iPhone cases that I made recently. They're super easy to do and only take about twenty minutes if you do something simple, and they make for a fun, short, and useful DIY project for when you're feeling crafty.

Supplies

Clear iPhone case(s), paper (patterned or plain), markers, colored pencils, fabric, paint, paintbrush, scissors.

Instructions

Make a template of the phone case by tracing it onto a piece of paper. Cut out some paper or fabric of your choice to the size of the template. Make sure you leave a hole for the camera. If you decide to cut out paper, you can either use scrapbooking paper that already has designs or you can trace or draw designs of your own like I did. You can also cut out pages from magazines, make collages, or paint directly on the clear iPhone case.

Thanks for reading. I hope you get to try this out sometime and enjoy! If you have anything I can do to improve or suggestions for future posts, please let me know in the comments! ♡
